The landscape of Dalí's homeland is essential to understanding both Dalí himself and his work. He would declare: I am the Cap de Creus. To better understand Dalí's paintings it is important therefore to visit the Dalinian centres : Figueres, Cadaqués and Púbol.

The special light, the strong north wind(the tramuntana)that sweeps across the natural formations of the Cap the Creus - all of these elements inspired Dalí in the Empordà.
